Service Virtualization Server
The Service Virtualization Server is a standalone server application which hosts the running of virtual services. The Service Virtualization Server is optimized for performance, and can host many more services than the Designer. The Service Virtualization Server uses its own database, separate from the Designer database. It can be accessed by multiple Designers, as well as by third-party tools.
On Windows, the Service Virtualization Server is installed by the installer as a Windows service, but can also be run on demand as a console application by running the same .exe file associated with the Windows service.
Note: Every deployed virtual service requires 4-5 database connections.
